Joyprint is a Queensland-owned and operated signage production studio, based in Brisbane, with 27 years' experience delivering custom-made signage for property developers, government departments and marketing agencies across Southeast Queensland. QBCC-licensed, we provide a complete in-house signage service, managing every stage of a project from design and production through to installation. Our services include construction hoarding signage, building wraps, billboards, showroom and sales display signage, 3D illuminated signage, and window and wall graphics for major residential and commercial developments throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our growing team and support the commercial and contractual management of our expanding project pipeline.
About the Role
As Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of contracts from commencement through to completion.
Working closely with our production, installation and project teams as well as external clients, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements, specifications and agreed client expectations.
Key duties:
- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining contracts, purchase orders, work orders, subcontractor agreements and other project documentation.
- Negotiating variations to contracts, subcontracts and supply agreements for signage and hoarding projects
- Monitoring project costs, budgets, schedules and contractual obligations.
- Preparing and processing variations, and assessing changes to project scope, materials, quantities, costs and installation requirements.
- Maintaining records of variations, approvals, purchase orders, invoices and project expenditure.
- Responding to contract and project-related enquiries and assisting in resolving issues that arise during project delivery.
- Monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance against agreed scope, specifications, timelines and contractual requirements.
- Identifying potential contractual, scheduling, procurement and delivery issues and escalating matters to management where required.
- Maintaining accurate contract registers, compliance records and project documentation in line with QBCC licensing requirements
- Assisting with site meetings, project meetings and progress reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation, review and administration of tenders and project submissions.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Project or Construction Management
- Minimum of 2 years' experience administering commercial contracts, ideally within construction, signage, print, fit-out or a related industry
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract/document management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, developers and trade contractors
